About our Council

St.Gianna’s Council became a chartered council on October 12th, 2007. It is named for St.Gianna Beretta Molla who was a modern day working mother who lived an ordinary middle-class life in simplicity, respecting life, while working as a physician. Her true vocation was her husband and children and she lived her stewardship of her faith with Jesus at the centre of all aspects of her life. She was canonized by Pope John Paul II on May 16, 2004. In his homily at her canonization Mass, Pope John Paul II called Gianna “a simple, but more than ever, significant messenger of divine love.”

Our Mission Statement

Inspired by the faith of our patroness St. Gianna Beretta Molla, and based upon the Knights of Columbus principles of charity, unity, and fraternity, our council leads programs that support those in need, strengthen the parish community, promote the Knights’ brotherhood, and encourage a strong catholic faith life.

March For Life

In order for changes to occur we must be the voice for those that do not have one. As Catholics we can do something or we can we can sing a little loader. Please watch this video and decide what you would rather do. With your voice or actions! Please click here to watch this video and decide what you would rather do, with your voice or actions!
